CLARO RECEIVES FDA CLEARANCE FOR ACNE TREATMENT

The long wait is finally over - our Personal IPL Acne Clearing Device CLARO just received FDA clearance for the treatment of mild to moderate inflammatory acne.

For everyone that played a part in getting the CLARO approved, thank you.

And for those of you that are not familiar with CLARO. The device uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), a powerful combination of HEAT and LIGHT, to treat mild to moderate acne quickly and naturally. The CLARO delivers a series of light pulses in 6 seconds that safely penetrate the skin to eliminate the bacteria that cause acne and reduce inflammation.

This technology has been used by Dermatologists for many years; however this is the first time true IPL technology will be available to you the consumer for use whenever and wherever you need it. Now you can treat acne on your time…Got a pimple…Treat it now….Get on with your life.

The CLARO will be available through leading physicians in January 2009. For more information visit our website www.myclaro.com

  2. Dear Anonymous,

From your post it seems that there might be some confusion surrounding the CLARO. In an effort to clear the air we would like to state that we have never suggested that we developed IPL technology for the treatment of acne. IPL technology has been widely used by leading dermatologists and has been regarded as one of the most important advancements in acne treatment. What we set out to do is take the same technology previously only available to physicians and make it safe, affordable and easy to use for the consumer. We want to give our customers the ability to fight acne wherever and whenever they want to.

I hope this helps clear up any confusion.
